Sean and his team have been working on some great new dishes for the spring and summer which feature on our new party menus and will soon start appearing on the lunch and dinner menu's.
We source local and seasonal produce; At this time of the year as Spring arrives we start to see a wonderful selection of local ingredients. Allotment vegetables; courgette flower, beetroot, fennel, beans, herbs and much more. Local poultry from Fosse Meadow near Lutterworth, lamb from local shepherdess Sophie Arlott, asparagus from Rutland Water and Abbey Parks, foraged food from the local woods and verges. As well as great cheeses from the local farms and dairies.
There is also superb shore fish, line caught Wild Seabass, Sea Trout, Sprats & Mackerel and shellfish like Lobster and hand dived scallops delivered to our door every morning from ports in Devon & Cornwall.

We create wonderful pub classics including 'Olive Branch Fish and Chips, tomato sauce and minted peas' and 'Chargrilled Rib Eye Steak, tomato, mushrooms, chips and bearnaise' alongside some more 'restaurant style' dishes created using the very best available ingredients such as 'Seared Scallops, smoked bacon mash & caper viniagrette', and ' Honey roast Gressingham, braised fennel & blood orange'.
Over the last ten years we found some superb local producers and suppliers to ensure our ingredients are local and of the best possible quality...
