Spring at the Red Lion Inn in the village of Stathern surrounded by the beautiful open countryside of the Vale of Belvoir, where Sean and Sam have sourced much of the ingredients for the new year 2013 menus, such as Gloucester old spot pork, 28 day aged beef, sausages from the village butcher, eggs from the local farm, vegetables from our own kitchen garden, village allotments & Lincolnshire farms, as well as cheese and bread from nearby dairies and bakers. Fresh fish delivered everyday from Brixham, shellfish from Cornwall and great local beers...
Wine Wednesday, we’re doing ‘buy one bottle and get one free’ every Wednesday night this month. With a wide selection of wines to choose from, this is a fantastic deal whether you are dining or just out with friends enjoying few drinks and a Red Lion platter? Please mention this promotion when booking.Fish Friday freshly caught and delivered to our door from ports in Cornwall and Yorkshire. As we'll as our £6.95 Fish n chips (eat in 12-2pm, 6-7pm, takeaway till 9pm). We have a Fish Specials Board with a selection speciality fish dishes, to include whole fish, shellfish and Lobster (dependent upon availability).
